our WOW Ambassadors in Elena Whiteside's
story beginning on page 8, loins girt about
with truth, and having on the breastplate of
righteousness; feet shod with the preparation
of the gospel of peace; having taken the
shield of believing, the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the spirit, which is the
Word of God. Prepared by training, our
WOWs are armed and ready to do battle with
the adversary on the front lines. The second
figure is the "spiritual athlete" of the Word.
